Ria Carval is a Latin Pop singer/songwriter who infuses her own soul and personal experiences into fresh multicultural beats and melodies in both English and Spanish.  Ria was born and raised in Cali, Colombia. She moved to the US to follow her passion for music and graduated with honors from The College of Saint Rose (New York Private University), holding a Bachelor of Science in Music Industry with a concentration in Voice and Songwriting. At a very young age, Ria started her musical journey as a student at Preludio Music Academy. She participated in more than eight national contests growing up, winning its majority and always gaining recognition. She was also the opener for one of the biggest dance and music festivals in Colombia "Festival Internacional del Ballet". Before leaving to the US, she performed in a lot of venues as a soloist and with her school band “The Pets”, and participated in programs from the most recognized music colleges in Colombia and Berklee College Of Music ‘On The Road’ series.  

Now at the age of 23, Ria’s music has more than 160K streams in music platforms, and her top singles have reached radio, blogs, magazines, newspapers and TV appearances worldwide. She has released 1 album, 1 EP, 6 singles, a couple of collaborations and has a lot more music on the way. Ria continues to perform in the states of NY and CA as a soloist and as a member of the band “Groove Ride”. Currently residing in the Bay Area, she has performed in festivals, corporate events, birthdays, weddings, fundraises and more at venues like Redwood City Courthouse Square, Santa Clara Fairgrounds, The Palace Hotel San Francisco, Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel, Crown Plaza Foster City, and Morgan Hill Downtown Amphitheater, to name a few. Ria believes feelings are very underrated and hard to get in touch with in today’s society. Her mission with her music is to provide a space to feel everything and heal. She wants to show her fans all the emotions one lives in their life going through the process of growth and acceptance to find happiness.
